    WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US

    • A wonderful stay! One of the best small hotels I've stayed at in Europe!

Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Istanbul

We stayed at the Bed and breakfast hotel Faik Pasha for 12 days while visiting Istanbul. We had a 1st floor suite which included a bedroom (large with king sized bed) for us and a smaller bedroom for our teenaged son. We had a bathroom, sitting room, fridge and extra sink as well. The furnishings were early 20th century antique - like and the bathroom was all marble and a lovely shower head. Not only was the suite spacious, but it was very comfortable as well. One of the highlights of Faik Pasha is it's breakfasts. Fresh cheeses and vegetables are available, and all their breads and cakes are made daily (the orange scented cake is divine!). They also make their own jams and marmalades and the orange marmalade is particularly delicious in my opinion. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 11 so you can also have a lazy wake up which is handy for lie-a-beds like my teen, and as it happens, my mother. The staff at the front desk are delightful and can help you with anything you want to do. They can arrange a dinner reservation, taxi, airport transfer, or help you with finding sights and events you'd like to try. They will tell you where they like to eat and what fish is their favorite when you ask. And they will also arrange a time in their private Hamam a couple doors down, if you, like we, have an impromtu snow day and are looking for a way to enjoy a lazy day on the crooked streets without going far at all. Oh, and yes, the Hamam is amazingly good.I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem. Faik Pasha's owner (a former lawyer) has done an incredible job! It's both homey and luxurious all at the same time!
Oda İpucu: The main building has better wifi than the second building next door.

    • Comofort in the heart of Istanbultripadvisor_faikpashaFaik Pasha, decor and friendlines blends in with the neighbourhood. It is calm, easy going but at the same time vibrant mix of tradition and alternative to hectic modernity. The interior is welcoming and far away from typical hotel rooms, personel is always smiling and ready to help when you need them. Internet working perfectly breakfast is nice and tasty. Real oasis 5 minutes away from busy tourists attractions. Highly recommended to all those who enjoy calm city quarters with character; as well as to all those who like Istanbul's liveliness, which is only 5 min walk from Faik Pasha.Writes our guest Jasmina

Me and my boyfriend have been at Faik Pasha's in december and we understood it was a very good choice as soon as we met the receptionist. We had a well decorated, clean and spacious room with a little terrace. The hotel is in the very center of Istanbul night life, but in a small quiet street: by 10 minutes walk you can reach Istiklal Caddesi or the bus stop to the old city. Every single person at the hotel was nice, helpful and friendly at any time. Special mention to the breakfast: made of natural products from the countryside, it was full of delightful food for any taste (sweet or not!) and it was served in a living room-like hall. It has a small hammam inside. We loved it, we couldn't have made a better choice!
